Sending large batches of emails all at once can sometimes cause your emails to go straight to junk, and never make it into the inbox. So how can you avoid this? So easy. Staggered sending. The staggered send method will allow you to send out a campaign over a set period of time, which is especially useful when sending out a large email campaign.

Let's dive right in and show you how it works. Let's open emails and click Create New Campaign. We'll give our campaign a name. Select a category for your campaign and select next. Here select your campaign details including the mailing list, the sender name, sender email addresses, and subject line. Once you've filled out these details, click next. Now design your email. For this example, we will select a template. But to learn how easy it is to design your own email, watch the Academy video Understand all SwiftFox email design features. Once your email is ready to send, click next. Head to the Send Method section and select the Staggered sending option.

Here, an information box will show you SwiftFox’s default settings for this option. These settings will send your campaign in 15 minutes slots over a total period of three hours from the scheduled time, including an overnight blackout period. However, this is fully customisable, so let's change these details by selecting the settings icon.

First, pick the period of time you want your campaign to be sent over then, select the intervals you want your emails to be sent in. Finally, you can select a blackout period when no emails will be sent, which is particularly helpful for not sending emails overnight. Pick your timezone and select save. Now you're all ready to go. Your campaign will be sent in batches over the duration that you've selected, giving you a better chance of avoiding that junk folder. Easy as that.

Once your campaign is sent, you will be able to see all of your campaign data in the overview page. This includes all of the details of when your recipients received their email and what they did with it. And there you have it.
